Abstract:Objective：Against the backdrop of high-quality hospital development，this study explores the innovative application of the “Quality，Innovation，Development 1+X” initiative in promoting continuous improvement of medical quality and services. Methods：A total of 230 medical team cases from the 1+X activity improvement program（2021-2023）at Quanzhou First Hospital were analyzed using literature review and data analysis，focusing on registration volume，case types，scoring，outstanding cases，and cases requiring improvement. Results：The shortlisting rates of excellent cases in the Department of Internal Medicine（10.59%），Obstetrics and Gynecology（27.27%），and Medical Technology Departments（26.67%）were significantly higher than those in the Department of Surgery（3.28%）and Pediatrics（8.33%，P=0.009）. The initiative has demonstrated a upward trend in case diversity and quality participation，with internal medicine，obstetrics and gynecology，and medical technology departments showing notably higher excellence rates. Conclusion：The high shortlisting rate（33.3%）of cases focusing on professional quality control indicators aligns with the core requirements of the Tertiary Hospital Accreditation Standards. The “Quality，Innovation，Development 1+X” initiative，particularly when centered on professional quality control and treatment quality indicators，effectively promotes sustained improvement of departmental medical quality.
