Abstract:Objective：To explore the effect of iceberg theory combined with continuous nursing on treatment compliance and quality of life of patients with endodontic disease. Methods：A total of 88 patients with dental endodontics admitted to our hospital from July 2021 to May 2022 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention，and the observation group was given iceberg theory combined with continuous nursing on the basis of the control group. Treatment compliance，quality of life，modified Dental Anxiety Scale（MDAS）score，disease awareness，mastication function and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results：The treatment compliance of observation group was higher than control group（P < 0.05）. Overall health，sleep status，pain and social function scores in observation group were higher than those in control group after intervention（P < 0.05）. After intervention，the MDAS score of observation group was lower than that of control group（P < 0.05），and the disease awareness of observation group was higher than that of control group（P < 0.05）. After intervention，the masticatory efficacy and biting force of observation group were higher than those of control group（P < 0.05）. Compared with the control group，the satisfaction rating of the observation group was higher（P < 0.05）. Conclusion：Iceberg theory combined with continuous nursing can improve the treatment compliance，quality of life and disease awareness of patients with endodontic disease，improve patients’ bad mood，improve patients’ chewing function，and obtain a better satisfaction evaluation.
