Abstract:Objective：The research is to establish an early medical risk management system for critically ill patients to standardize the treatments of critically ill patients and improve the quality of medical care. Methods：The administrative department combining with relevant medical and technical departments carried out early multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatments for critically ill patients under the leadership of the medical quality and safety management team of the hospital. This study is aim to find the defects of diagnosis and treatment，standardize the process of diagnosis and treatment，and improve the level of treatment. Results：The incidence of grade I and II adverse events，the incidence of unplanned reoperation and major surgical complications decreased under hospital supervise，the difference was statistically significant. The number of specialized rescue flow charts，rating sheets and the awareness rates of medical staff in each clinical departments increased year by year. The use of antibiotics and adjuvant drugs are becoming more and more reasonable. Conclusions：The establishments of early medical risk management system for critically ill patients and the constructions of a three-level medical quality control network composed with decision-making layer，control layer and executive layer can ensure better hospital medical quality and management level for the safety of critically ill patients.
