Abstract:Objective：To explore the psychological state of medical postgraduates during novel coronavirus outbreak，and to provide a plan for the maintenance of mental health of medical postgraduates in future public health emergencies. Methods：An online questionnaire survey was conducted among 567 postgraduate students in Nanjing Drum Tower hospital by the general situation questionnaire，epidemic prevention questionnaire and self-rating anxiety scale（SAS）. Result：The score of SAS of professional degree postgraduates was higher than that of academic degree postgraduates（P < 0.05），and academic postgraduates showed a more positive attitude towards the epidemic news. Conclusion：In the absence of mental health intervention measures and clinical guidance in public health emergencies，medical postgraduates，especially professional postgraduates with more clinical work，are more likely to have anxiety and resistance. It is suggested to carry out multi-dimensional，individualized and whole-stage psychological intervention for different types of postgraduates，and to form a psychological intervention plan for public health emergencies.
