Abstract:Objective：In the “simultaneous development of medical treatment，teaching and research” model，it is of great significance to explore the present situation and analyze the problems of the training of pediatric professional master graduate，and to put forward some reasonable suggestions. Methods：In order to objectively present the training status of clinical ability and scientific research ability of pediatric master students，a questionnaire survey was conducted on the professional master graduates majoring in pediatric of a certain children’s hospital，and the differences between different grades and different directions were deeply explored，analyzed the current status of graduate education. Results：The study found that due to the particularity of pediatric patients，there is still a lack of clinical practice opportunities for graduate students，especially in pediatric medicine. Simulation skills training needs to be strengthened. The cultivation of scientific research ability is not enough，the scientific research time is insufficient，and the pressure of scientific research in pediatric surgery is heavier. Conclusion：In order to improve the training mode of pediatric professional master students，it is necessary to combine practice opportunities with simulation training，strengthen clinical ability，and strengthen the importance of scientific research，so as to cultivate high-level talents with strong clinical practice ability and scientific research ability in pediatrics.
