Abstract:Objective：To analyze the historical empty cases under DIP payment in hospitals，explore the reasons for the formation of historical empty cases，and propose corresponding improvement measures. Method：597 historical empty group cases settled in the DIP operation analysis system of a certain grade A tertiary general hospital from January to June 2024 wereselected as the research objects，and the disease structure，enrollment status，and medical insurance types of historical empty group cases were analyzed. Result：The top 10 diseases accounted for 28.14% of the total number of cases in the historical blank group. The historical empty groups caused by various coding errors account for 21.44%. Conclusion：Changes in disease spectrum，coding errors，and employee medical insurance cases are more likely to become historical gaps. By adopting measures such as promoting medical insurance policies，strengthening the training of medical insurance coders，improving supporting mechanisms in accordance with national requirements，and establishing medical insurance MDT teams，we can avoid historical gaps caused by human factors.
