Abstract:Objective：To explore role of precision sensory control in the prevention and control of surgical site infection，in the context of the experience of handling a nosocomial infection cluster incident of surgical site infection caused by SA. Methods：Adopting precise infection control strategies to deal with the surgical site infection cluster caused by SA in the gynecology ward in August 2023，such as tracing investigations，customizing sampling plans，conducting retrospective training，developing specialized systemsand implementing targeted control measures. Results：Through proactive screening 5 healthcare workers had nasal swabs positive for SA or MRSA，after precision sensory and intensive preventive control measures，there was a 100% success rate of decolonization. The compliance rate of hand hygiene and training coverage have both increased，and the surgical site infection rate has decreased（statistically significant，P < 0.05）. Conclusion：SA colonization was an important factor causing surgical site infections. The strategy of proactive screening and precision sensory control is effective in controlling the spread of nosocomial infections.
