Abstract:Objective：Through in-depth research on the occurrence of medical quality and safety （adverse） events in medical institutions，to enhance the level of medical safety management in hospitals. Methods：The research method of retrospective analysis was selected to analyze the level，number，and cause category of 401 adverse events reported by a certain grade A tertiary specialized hospital in Tianjin through the OA system from 2021 to 2023. Results：From 2021 to 2023，the number of adverse events reported showed an increasing trend year by year，and the adverse events were mainly concentrated in grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ adverse events，and the number of adverse events reported in device management was the largest，accounting for 35.16%. Conclusion：Continuously improve the management system of medical quality and safety （adverse） events，establish a non-punitive incentive reporting mechanism，strengthen the quality and safety education and training of medical staff，and improve the efficiency of adverse event reporting with the help of information technology to ensure the safety of patients.
