Abstract:Objective：To explore the application effect of Diagnosis related groups（DRGs）payment mode in the construction of hospital information system. Methods：The first page data of 8，572 inpatient medical records from March 2020 to September 2021 in our hospital were prospectively selected as the control group，and 9，732 cases in the same period were selected as the research group，that is，to build DRGs hospital information system. At the same time，in the process of applying DRGs payment mode，an integrated information and information comprehensive supervision and cost control system was established，and the quality，efficiency and control ability of medical services before and after the construction were compared. Results：The medical service quality，service efficiency and cost management ability of the study group were better than those of the control group（P < 0.05）. Conclusion：The construction of hospital information system based on DRGs payment mode can effectively control medical expenses and improve the quality and efficiency of medical services.
