Abstract:Objective：To understand the current situation of antimicrobial use in hospitals，analyze the reasons and propose improvement measures. Methods：Detailed quantitative analysis of antimicrobial use，pathogen testing and antimicrobial prophylaxis for class Ⅰ incision surgery in inpatients in a certain hospital from January 2019 to June 2022. The observation method and in-depth interview method were used to study the statistical process and specific problems of hospital antibacterial drug-related indicators for personnel in hospital infection management department.In order to understand the current situation of the use of antibacterial drugs in hospitals，analyze the reasons and propose improvement measures. Results：From January 2019 to June 2022，the hospital inpatients all met the standard values of 60%. And it showed a downward trend year by year. Down from 56.03% in 2019 to 43.53% in the first half of 2022. From January 2019 to June 2022，the pathogen testing rate before antimicrobial treatment in the hospital did not meet the standard value of 50%，But it is showing an increasing trend year by year，up from 43.8% in 2019 to 48.7% in the first half of 2022. In 2019 and 2020，the utilization rate of antimicrobial prophylaxis for classⅠincision surgery did not meet the standard value of 30%. Decline in values in 2021 and the first half of 2022，compliance with the standard values. Conclusion：The use of antibacterial drugs in the hospital is unreasonable，especially the problem of sending pathogens for examination before the treatment of antibacterial drugs for inpatients. Therefore，in addition to continuous learning by clinicians. It also requires the cooperation of infection management department，clinical pharmacists，laboratory and bacteria room，so that antibacterial drugs can be used reasonably while controlling infection.
