Abstract:Objectives：To study the occurrence and changing trend of adverse events by analyzing 387 cases of medical adverse events reported in a certain grade A secondly hospital in Guangzhou from 2018-2021，and to explore possible solutions to improve medical quality and ensure medical safety. Methods：EXCEL was used to retrospectively analyze the data of medical adverse events reported by the hospital from 2018-2021. Results：The highest number of cases were reported in 2019，the hospital’s adverse events were mainly Grade IV events（critical error events）and Grade Ⅲ events（non-consequential events）.The surgical system and internal medicine were the main sites of adverse events，and the highest number of cases of nursing adverse events occurred. Conclusion：The occurrence of adverse events should be reduced by continuously promoting the standardized management of primary care adverse events，strengthening safety management in nursing work and regularly analyzing and summarizing typical adverse events.
