Abstract:Objective：To analyze the situation of MIPROP（medical insurance patients referral to other places）in a certain grade A tertiary hospital of Nantong city in recent three years，and to provide basis for management of MIPROP and construction strategies of clinical development for hospitals in the Nantong area. Methods：The application forms of MIPROP in the past three years were consulted，and the data including the number，etiology，department of application，transferred region and reason were analyzed. Results：From 2018 to 2020，the proportion of MIPROP were 0.93%，0.92% and 0.8% respectively. The main etiology were diseases of tumor，cardiovascular，kidney，colorectum，orthopedics and ophthalmology. The major departments of application arecardiothoracic surgery，Oncology，Nephrology，Gastroenterology，Gastroenterology，Ophthalmology，Hematology and Pediatrics. About 90% of the MIPROP went to Shanghai and Nanjing. In recent three years，the proportion of referral applicationfrom patients or their families increased year by year，while the proportion of recommendationfrom specialists decreased year by year. Conclusion：Hospitals in the Nantong area still need to strengthen the construction of clinical departments related to tumor，cardiovascular，kidney diseases etc.，which offered major MIPROP，in order to further enhance service capacity and meet the needs of the public.
