Abstract:Objective：To explore the effect of three-level management organization structure applied in hospital medical insurance index management. Methods：Data of hospitalization expenses of medical insurance patients in Fifth People’s Hospital of Wuxi from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected. Routine medical insurance management was implemented in 2018 and three-level management organization structure was implemented after 2019. The hospitalization indexes of medical insurance patients，the proportion of hospitalization expenses of medical insurance patients and the number of medical insurance rounds and training were compared in two years. Results：The hospitalization index of medical insurance patients in 2019 was better than that in 2018，with statistical significance（P < 0.05）；the proportion of hospitalization cost structure of medical insurance patients in 2019 was not significantly different from that in 2018（P > 0.05）；the number of medical insurance rounds and training for medical insurance workers in 2019 was 24 and 10，respectively，which was significantly higher than the 15 and 5 rounds in 2018. Conclusion：The application of three-level management structure in the management of medical insurance indicators in hospitals can effectively improve the inpatient indicators of medical insurance patients，increase the number of medical insurance rounds and training for medical insurance workers，which is of great significance to improve the prognosis of inpatients and is worth promoting.
