Abstract:Objective：Discuss the effectiveness and problems of the management of clinical path management in a certain tertiary dermatology hospital，and provide a reference for medical quality and efficiency. Methods：A certain tertiary dermatology hospital has introduced a supporting implementation policy for clinical path management，continuously improved the management system，and continued to improve system construction and informatization. Collect the information of inpatients from January 1，2014 to December 31，2019 from the HIS information system of the dermatology hospital. Organize and analyze the changes and effectiveness of the number of disease types，access rates，average hospitalization expenses，and length of hospital stay. Results：The hospital has issued supporting implementation policies since the implementation of the clinical path work in 2014. The number of departments implementing clinical pathways rose from 1 to 6，the number of disease types gradually increased from 3 to 25，and the number of cases involved increased from 3 to 1，334. The proportion of cases admitted to the total number of discharged patients also increased. Increased from 0.72% to 32.99%.The average length of hospital stay showed a declining trend，from 21.0 days to 7.7 days；the average cost of hospital stays fluctuated，showing a downward trend as a whole，between 6 745.8 to 15 035.1 yuan. The quality of clinical path management of the top 10 diseases in the hospital’s penetration rate in 2019 has continued to improve，and it has begun to take on specialty characteristics. Conclusion：The hospital’s clinical path work has achieved some results，but it is still extensive management. It is necessary to further promote the clinical path management，scientifically select path diseases，and promote the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine to improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment efficiency.
