Abstract:Objective：To figure out the media sources of scientific health knowledge which people of different gender , age, with different disease and knowledge structure get.To analysis the differences of media source of health information that different groups aquire，so as to improve the function of mass media in health education. Method：From May 2012 to January 2013，440 hospitalized patients from Southeast University Affiliated Zhongda Hospital and 266 healthy people in Sanpailou Community of Nanjing Drum Tower District were surveyed and conducted a questionnaire survey. Result：TV is the most popular，with paper，magazine being the second，and broadcast，internet the third. Due to personal difference in gender，age，health condition，occupation，and education，the respondents differ in their choices of health information media acquiring. Conclusion：The survey in this research has provided data for the planning of specific health education and at the same time，theoretically and practically support the status of media propaganda in health education.
