Abstract:Objective：To collect the relevant data of hospital operation indicators before and after the implementation of the policy of payment according to disease type score in the Longyan First Hospital，and to evaluate the implementation effect of DIP reform by discontinuous time series analysis（ITSA analysis）. Methods：Monthly data on relevant indicators of medical insurance patients before the reform and after the reform were collected. Interrupted time series analysis were used to evaluate the trend and level changes of relevant operating indicators of the sample hospitals before and after the implementation of the DIP policy. Results：Following the DIP payment reform，the monthly average proportion of consumables decreased at a rate of 0.5% per month compared to the period before the reform（β3=-0.005，P < 0.001）；the monthly average proportion of medical service revenue（β3=0.002，P < 0.001）and the proportion of grade three and four surgeries（β3=0.004，P < 0.001）respectively increased at a rate of 0.2% and 0.4% per month；the monthly average cost per case（β3=-88.003，P=0.013 < 0.05）decreased at a rate of 88.003 yuan per month. Conclusion：The DIP payment reform has achieved certain successes，with inpatient costs effectively controlled，the cost structure optimized，and a significant enhancement in medical service capabilities. However，the reform process has also revealed some shortcomings，such as the undervaluation of points for critically ill patients and issues with the timeliness of data updates.
