Abstract:The discipline inspection and supervision teams of public hospitals were important force in ensuring the healthy operation and high-quality development of hospitals. This study conducted qualitative interviews and questionnaire surveys among 54 disciplinary inspection and supervision personnel from 30 public hospitals at or above the secondary level in Zhejiang province，and found out the protruding problems with regard to current construction of discipline inspection and supervision teams in public hospitals，such as “poor personnel structure，narrow promotion space，unclear job responsibilities，and weak business capabilities”. To effectively address these issues and create a high-quality and specialized discipline inspection and supervision iron army in public hospitals，we tried to propose the strategies as follows“supplement professional talents，smooth development platforms，clarify functional positioning，and enhance business capabilities”.
