Abstract:Objective：The objective of this study was to discuss the quality control testing method for defibrillation monitors and enhance their safety and effectiveness. Methods：FLUKE professional testing equipment was used to assess the appearance，power-up functionality，electrical safety，energy accuracy，charging time，synchronization delay time，and heart rate error of 45 active defibrillation monitors in a certain municipal public hospital. Results：The overall pass rate for the 45 defibrillation monitors was found to be 73%. Specifically，the appearance qualified rate was 93%，boot qualified rate was 75%，energy accuracy qualified rate reached 97%，while electrical safety，charging time，synchronization delay time and heart rate error all achieved a perfect score of 100%. Based on identified causes for non-compliance issues during initial testing phase，improvement measures were implemented resulting in successful retesting outcomes. Conclusion：Quality control testing for defibrillation monitors can effectively mitigate usage-related safety risks and provide valuable guidance for medical equipment quality control and management within the region.
