Abstract:Objective：To analyze the hospitalization expenses of COPD patients and its influencing factorsat a certain tertiary general hospital in Xiamen，so as to provide reference for optimizing the medical service management of COPD patients. Methods：Medical record home page data of all COPD inpatients at a certaintertiary general hospital in Xiamen from 2019 to 2022 were retrieved. These data were used to analyze the basic information，hospitalization expenses and their influencing factors. Descriptive analysis was used for all data，variance analysis was used for one-way analysis，and multiple linear regression was used for all multivariate analysis. Results：A total of 3，430 inpatients were included in this study. The number of patients was increased from 934 in 2019 to 988 in 2022. Among them. The proportion of men（87.00%）is significantly higher than that of women（13%）. The number of inpatients with ≥2 diseases increased from 914（97.85%）to 979（99.09%）. From 2019 to 2022，the average hospitalization expenses of COPD inpatients were 17，000 yuan，14，800 yuan，14，200 yuan and 14，400 yuan respectively.There are statistically significant differences in the hospitalization expenses of patients with different days of hospitalization and number of diseases. （P＜0.05），and the hospitalization expenses increased with the the increase of hospitalization days and number of diseases. Conclusions：In this study，the number of COPD patients，the incidence of comorbidity showed an overall increasing trend，and the main influencing factors of hospitalization cost were hospitalization days and the number of diseases. The author suggested that the hospital establish a standardized COPD clinical pathway system to shorten the hospitalization days；The treatment of COPD patients should be shifted to prevention，and promote pulmonary function examination.
