Abstract:Objective：To explore the care willingness and influencing factors of the elderly in Dali City. Methods：The convenient sampling method was used to investigate the old people in Dali City. Results：A total of 1，200 questionnaires were sent out and 1，132 were effectively received，with effective recovery rate of 94.3%. Among them，500（44.2 %）preferred traditional home care，while 632（55.8%）preferred non-home care. Among them，age，education level，marital status，monthly income，current pension mode，number of family members living together，and children’s ideas on pension mode had statistical significance on the choice of pension intention of the elderly（P < 0.05）. Logistic regression analysis showed that the older people with higher monthly income（OR=1.529），non-home-based pension mode（OR=2.759），and children’s concept of non-home-based pension（OR=8.839）were more inclined to non-home-based pension. Conclusion：With the aging process intensifying，the government should take effective measures to actively respond，develop diversified pension models，improve the service quality of pension institutions，encourage two-way intergenerational support，improve the sense of gain and happiness of the elderly.
