Abstract:Objective：This study aimed to evaluate the hospital’s SCI paper from the perspective of FWCI，and discuss the difference among various disciplines，in order to provide guidance for scientific research evaluation and disciplinary development. Methods：Relevant information of SCI papers in a certain large grade-A tertiary public hospital from 2011 to 2020 was collected，and the overall situation and trend of SCI papers were described. The distribution of CiteScore（CS），CS percentile，Citations，and Journal Impact Factor（JIF）and average FWCI were analyzed. Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation of CS，CS percentile，Citations，JIF and FWCI. Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze the difference of CS，CS percentile，Citations and JIF between FWCI < 1 and FWCI≥1. Representative case analysis was used for research evaluation among various disciplines，and Kruskal-Wallis test was used to analyze the difference among different disciplines. Results：With the gradual increase of CS，Citations and JIF，the corresponding average FWCI also gradually increased. FWCI was positively associated with CS（r=0.368），Citations（r=0.798）and JIF（r=0.336）.CS，citations，and JIF in FWCI≥1 group performed better than that in FWCI<1 group（P < 0.001）.The results of representative case analysis showed that there were significant differences in the quality of SCI papers among different disciplines. FWCI is more suitable for research evaluation in interdisciplinary fields and can guide the construction and development of disciplines. Conclusion：The hospital has made rapid progress in SCI papers during the period from 2011 to 2020，but the quality and influence of papers need further improvement. FWCI overcomes the deviation caused by time accumulation effect and discipline differences，which could provide more scientific guidance for the evaluation of hospital scientific research and disciplinary development.
