Abstract:Objective：To explore the effectiveness of the quality control center’s work through the establishment of an assessment and evaluation system in a certain grade A tertiary publichospital in Nantong，Jiangsu Province，and to promote the management of the affiliated units of the quality control center to be more effective. Methods：The data of the annual assessment score，workload and excellence rate of the quality control center affiliated to the medical institution from 2019 to 2021 were collected and analyzed. The trend chi-square test analysis of the change results of the excellence rate of each quality control center in different years was carried out，and the difference was statistically significant with P < 0.05. Results：Under the effect of the quality control assessment and evaluation system，the assessment results of the quality control center from 2019 to 2021 showed that the average score of quality control work increased by 2.25 points，and that of quality control meetings and training increased by 2.5 points.The average quality control supervision increased from 2.25 times per year in 2019 to 4.08 times per year.The number of quality control reports increased from 1.125 to 2.67 per year；From 2019 to 2021，the proportion of outstanding quality control centers has increased significantly，and the proportion of assessment results of quality control centers has been basically stable. Conclusion：The establishment of an assessment and evaluation system by the affiliated institution of the quality control center can effectively improve the work quality of the quality control center.
