Abstract:Objective：To investigate the cognition of adult male to HPV vaccine in Lishui District of Nanjing city and the influencing factors of HPV vaccine willingness，and to provide suggestions for the promotion of HPV vaccine in male population in the future. Methods：Simple random sampling was used to investigate adult males in Lishui District. Results：65.7% had heard of HPV vaccine，48.61%（140/288）had the intention to be vaccinated. The difference in the perceptual impairment，perceived severity of disease，cognitive scores to HPV vaccination intention was statistically significant. Multivariate regression analysis showed that perceived impairment，perceived disease severity，educational background，marital status，reproductive system disease，whether heard of HPV vaccine had a significant impact on vaccination. Conclusion：Adult males in Lishui district have low awareness of HPV vaccine and low willingness to be vaccinated. It is suggested that people with low education level and low family income should be taken as the key group of health education，and the awareness level should be improved through various ways and forms of publicity such as hospitals，communities and networks，and the government should regulate the price of vaccines or include them in medical insurance，so as to reduce the burden of the vaccinated population and improve the vaccination rate of the population.
