Abstract:Objective：To understand the status quo of mental health of nurses with occupational musculoskeletal disease in Emergency Department，and to analyze its influencing factors，so as to provide intervention guidance for clinical nursing managers to better protect nurses’physical and mental health. Methods：a total of 133 emergency nurses in our hospital were investigated by using general information questionnaire，symptom checklist 90（SCL-90），disease perception scale（BIPPQ）and family support scale from January to December，2004. The results showed that the self-rating scale of symptom checklist 90（SCL-90），the self-rating scale of symptom checklist 90（BIPPQ），the self-rating scale of family support，and the self-rating scale of symptom checklist 90（SCL-90），the self-rating scale of symptom checklist 90（SCL-90），the self-rating scale of symptom checklist 90. Results：Among 133 emergency nurses，118 had occupational musculoskeletal disorders（88.72%）. The total mean score of Symptom Checklist 90（SCL-90）of emergency nurses was（1.59±0.48）. Univariate analysis，Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis showed that age，gender，professional title，working years，disease perception and family support were the main factors affecting the mental health of emergency nurses（P < 0.05）.Conclusion：this study showed that a high incidence of emergency department nurses occupational musculoskeletal disorders，and mental health problems more serious，as a nursing managers should focus on the age，male，low professional title，working years short，severe disease awareness and poor family support nurses，for such people to build a more perfect intervention strategy，to ensure the stability of nursing team.
