Abstract:Objective：To explore the causes and possible solutions of negative emotions such as tension，worry，fear，etc. in the process of assisted reproduction technology（ART），so as to provide the evidence for reducing the impact of negative factors in assisted reproduction. Methods：A total of 301 patients who were treated with ART from department of Genetics and Reproduction，the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University between August and September of 2021 were recruited here. They were classed to mild and severe negative emotions groups，and the basic information，commonfactors on causing negative emotion and related appeals were also collected and analyzed here，and performed the statistical analysis. Results：The results showed that no significant difference was detected for the data on age，region，education，occupation，income between mild and severe negative emotions groups（P > 0.05）. However，the significant differences were detected for the factors including way of seeking medical treatment，pressure suffered from the family and society，the quality of sleep and diet，corporation attitude from husband，whether the confession could be well responded between two groups（P＜0.05）. The logistic analysis result indicated that pressure suffering from the family and society，the lower quality of sleep and diet were correlated with negative emotions. The dissemination of scientific knowledge，optimize the process for visiting doctor，establishing the communication channels between patients and doctors，family members，and so on，improving the pregnancy rate，as well as offering feasible system for the leave to visit the doctor，which would benefit for reducing the occurrence of negative emotions on ART patients. Conclusion：The negative emotions of women with ART were affected by family and social pressure，quality of sleep and diet，and so on. More cooperation and policy support from doctors，families and workplace could reduce their negative emotions and improve pregnancy of ART.
