Abstract:Objective：To analyze the composition of inpatient cases of malignant tumor in a certain grade A tertiary hospital from 2014 to 2021，and provide the basis for the prevention and treatment of malignant tumors. Methods：Cases diagnosed with malignant tumors for the first time during the eight-year period from 2014 to 2021 were collected，and described the disease composition of malignant tumor cases in different year，region，gender and age. Results：Totally 85，223 patients with malignant tumor were admitted from 2014 to 2021，including 50，275 males and 34，948 females. The average age of patients was 59.84 years old，with bronchial and lung cancer ranking first. Prostate cancer and thyroid cancer ranked first in male and female respectively. The household registration of patients with various cancer mainly came from Nanjing. And the peak cases of cancer in men and women were aged over 65 and 45-64 years，respectively. Conclusion：The number of patients with malignant tumor was increasing year by year. Relevant medical department could adjust prevention strategies and resource allocation according to the distribution of malignant tumors.
