Abstract:Objective：To explore the effect of continuous improvement of nosocomial infection management quality in acertaintertiary hospital after a tertiary hospital implemented a long-term infection prevention and control mechanismunder the situation of COVID-19 epidemic. Methods：We have established a tracking system for all health staffs to participate in the control of nosocomial infection，effect evaluation，training for all staff at different levels，and quality control with information technology during the process of implementing the long-term mechanism. We compared the results before and after the application of long-term nosocomial infection mechanism（January 2021- July 2021，control group VS August 2021-January 2022，experimental group）. Results：After the implementation of the long-term mechanism，the unqualified rate of nosocomial infection control decreased，and the cognition of nosocomial infection control of all staffs increased. According to the statistics，the qualified rate of occupational protection in fever clinic，isolation and disinfection of multidrug-resistant bacteria，environmental hygiene monitoring，nosocomial infection and the incidence of nosocomial infection of multidrug-resistant bacteria in hospital have been significantly improved. Conclusion：The implementation of the long-term working mechanism can significantly improve the quality of nosocomial infection management.
