Abstract:Objective：To explore the construction of penicillin drug safety closed-loop management system based on information integration technology and its importance for drug safety of patients. Method：Based on the former medical information system and radio frequency identification（RFID）technology，the closed-loop management system of medication safety was established by information integration technology，including standardized drug information collection，system barrier of doctor’sordering and billing，early warning of medication risk，etc. Through the trial operation to improve the structuredinput，drug dictionary maintenance reminder and automatic feedback and other functions. The closed-loop management system of penicillin drug safety after operation in the whole hospital. Objective：To investigate the incidence of adverse nursing events related to penicillin drugs before and after implementation（2018 and 2020），and to investigate the effectiveness of closed-loop management system for penicillin drug safety among nurses. Results：Adverse events of penicillin drugs were decreased significantly（P < 0.05）. The satisfaction of medical information systemuse among medical staff was increased（P < 0.05）. The effectiveness of the closed-loop management system for penicillin drug safety was evaluated by nurses. Conclusion：The closed-loop Medication Safety Management System based on standardized information integration can effectively reduce the occurrence of drug-related adverse events and enhance medication safety.
