Abstract:Objective：To analyze the public’s knowledge of the new type of coronary pneumonia，and provide evidence for health departments to carry out health education. Methods：In February 2020，the convenience sampling method was used to survey the participants aged 18 and above through the questionnaire star platform. Results：More than 90% of participants can accurately determine the effective preventive measures for the new type of coronary pneumonia，and 89.58% of them can judge the ineffective preventive measures. However，38.39% of respondents still mistakenly believed that “headache” was a symptom of new coronary pneumonia，and 41.32%，49.18%，and 68.56% respectively believe that “infants”，“children” and “teenagers”were not susceptible to new coronary pneumonia. Conclusion：The public was highly concerned about the new type of coronary pneumonia epidemic，but there was still some misunderstanding. It is necessary to carry out health education for the public，especially for the high-risk groups such as participants lived in rural areas，men，under high school，and the unmarried.
