Abstract:Objective：To investigate the disease spectrum order and disease composition of inpatients in a hospital in recent 10 years，so as to provide basis for hospital managers to allocate medical resources reasonably. Methods：Diseases were classified according to the main diagnoses of ICD-10，and the data of patients were analyzed with the Pareto analysis of diseases. Results：From 2010 to 2019，the number of hospitalized cases in our hospital showed an upward trend，and the cases were mainly concentrated in the 44-59 age group and the age group over 60 years old，accounting for 71.6%. Digestive system diseases，circulatory system diseases，factors affecting health status and contact with health care institutions，some infectious and parasitic diseases，injury/poisoning and external causes，respiratory system diseases and tumors are the main diseases of inpatients. Conclusion：According to the disease composition and Pareto analysis results of hospitalized patients，it is necessary to explore the key monitored diseases in the hospital，carry out dynamic management，and timely update Pareto chart，so as to provide scientific basis for strengthening the construction of key specialties and allocating medical resources.
