Abstract:Objective：To evaluate the operation efficiency of Pediatrics in Wuhan tertiary public general hospitals and provide reference for improving the efficiency of pediatrics. Methods：The evaluation index of efficiency was determined by literature review and Pearson correlation analysis. SPSSS24.0 was used for descriptive statistical analysis. DEA-Malmquist index was used to evaluate the static efficiency and dynamic efficiency of pediatric departments. Results：In 2018，the comprehensive efficiency，pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of Pediatrics in 20 tertiary public hospitals in Wuhan were 0.71，0.84 and 0.85，respectively. From 2016 to 2018，the total factor productivity was 0.944，down by 5.6%. Conclusion：The static and dynamic efficiency of Pediatrics in Wuhan tertiary public hospitals need to be further improved.It is suggested to scientifically plan the scale of Pediatrics in tertiary public general hospitals and improve their management and technical level.
