Abstract:Objective：Taking Jiangsu as an example，to discuss the impact of the epidemic of NCP on the development of telemedicine in public hospitals，and employees’ demands. Methods：Stratified sampling was used to conduct interview and questionnaire surveys，descriptive statistical analysis and hierarchical chi-square test were used to analyze the results. Results：The level of telemedicine construction in public hospitals in Jiangsu Province varies between before and during the epidemic. There are differences in construction levels in the three districts of Northern Jiangsu，Central Jiangsu，and Southern Jiangsu. Medical staffare highly satisfied with the telemedicine construction of their hospital. The demand for telemedicine construction is mainly concentrated in two aspects：system optimization and hardware equipment improvement. Conclusion：Hospitals telemedicine was promoted during the epidemic，but are different in districts. Staff put forward needs for the development of telemedicine. Mechanism optimization and equipment improvemention should be focused on the basic of regional balance.
