Abstract:Objective：The aim of this study was to examine cases of the medical dispute cases involving bile duct injury in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods：Based on the analysis on 9 medical dispute cases caused by bile duct injury in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Results：Medical negligence existed in all 9 cases according to expert appraisal，and there were causal relationships between negligence and medical damage consequences. Medical negligence was the full factor that caused damages in 3 cases，the main factor in 4 cases，the same factor in one case and the secondary factor in one case. Conclusions：Significant attention should be paid to surgical operation，prevention and treatment of complications，and medical informed notification，in which whether medical staff perform the duty care well. We should evaluate the degree of medical negligence comprehensively for specific cases.
