Abstract:Objective：To analyze the results of four preliminary screening tests for hepatitis B virus surface antigen（HBsAg），treponema pallidum antibody（anti-Tp），alanine aminotransferase（ALT）and blood groups of blood donors in our center from 2014 to 2018，so as to provide reference for the recruitment and screening of blood donors in the future. Methods：The results of the screening tests for hepatitis B virus surface antigen（HBsAg），treponema pallidum antibody（anti-Tp），alanine aminotransferase（ALT）and blood groups from 2014 to 2018 were statistically analyzed. Results：The failure rates of HBsAg，anti-Tp，ALT and blood group were 0.48%，0.24%，0.16%，0.05%，respectively，and the total failure rates of the four indicators was 0.93%. The total failure rate（χ2=138.925，P < 0.000 1）and ALT failure rate（χ2=33.911，P < 0.000 1）showed a descending trend at a time-dependent manner.The failure rate of HBsAg and anti-Tp from group blood donation was lower than that from street individual blood donation（χ2=66.166，P < 0.000 1；χ2=32.725，P < 0.000 1），but the failure rate of blood group from group blood donation was significantly higher （χ2=118.436，P < 0.000 1）. Conclusions：Comply with the rules and regulations of blood testing in blood stationsstrictly and ensuring the quality of work are important guarantees to reduce the failure rate of blood donation.
