目的：探讨三级综合性医院中西医并举，全面推进中医发展的策略和手段。方法：对江南大学附属医院的临床科室和管理机构，在业务权限范围内开展中医药工作，包括搭建管理架构、加大人财物投入、完善补偿机制、推广适宜技术、提高服务积极性、扩大宣传、内涵建设考核等，全面匡扶中医，协同推进中医药发展。结果：医院成功创建国家重点中西医结合医院，建成了包括国家级重点专（学）科在内的多层次的中西医结合重点专（学）科群，医院科技创新持续取得突破，诊疗人次持续增高，患者就医均次费用持续降低，医院影响力增强。结论：在三级综合性医院中西医并举，具有切实可行的路径，符合时代、国家及患者的需求，为医院的发展奠定厚重底蕴。

Objective：To explore the strategies and methods in developing Chinese medicine and western medicine simultaneously to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）in tertiary general hospitals. Methods：The clinical departments and management departments in the affiliated hospital of Jiangnan University carried out the work of TCM within the scope of their business competence，such as building management structure，increasing investment in human and financial resources，improving compensation mechanism，promoting appropriate technology，improving service enthusiasm，expanding publicity，assessing content construction etc. to comprehensively support TCM and promote the development of TCM in coordination. Results：The hospital successfully established the national key integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital，and grew up a multi-level group of key integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine specialties，including the national key specialties. Continuous breakthrough has been made in scientific and technological innovation in hospitals. The number of hospital visits continued to increase and the average cost of patients' visits continued to decrease. The influence of the hospital was increased. Conclusions：It is feasible to carry out the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in tertiary general hospitals，which meets the needs of the times，country and the patients，and lays a solid foundation for the development of hospitals.
