Abstract:Objective：To explore the emergency organization and coping strategies for the emergency treatment of a large number of casualties after a 3.21 blast accident in Xiangshui，and to further optimize the emergency flow of a large number of casualties in short term to improve the first aid level. Methods：According to the accident，the wounded 93 people were treated 8 hours after the accident. According to the classification of injuries，they were divided into three grades：mild，severe and critically patients. From the beginning of the pre-examination triage，all the wounded were classified：outpatient treatment，observation，the specialist ward，ICU or operating room. The hospital set up a pre-hospital first aid group，an emergency treatment group，a ward treatment group，a logistics support group，a patient service group，an information statistics group，a security publicity group. Results：All 92 wounded patients were treated promptly and effectively. Among them，2 were critically patients，22 were seriously injured，and 68 were slightly injured. 51 patients were admitted to hospital，3 were observed，and 38 received outpatient treatment. In the hospitalization，All of wounded patients were discharged after the condition improved or cured. The whole treatment process was satisfactory. Conclusions：According to the special emergency plan，the hospital can respond quickly with classified treatment，and can effectively and rationally allocate medical resources，and organize the emergency treatment of each group.
