Abstract:Objective：To improve the quality of health services by strengthening the governance of the health industry organization. Methods：Through comparing the domestic and overseas status in the governance of the health industry organizations，this paper analyzed the characteristics and challenges of the health industry organization in China under the background of the new era. Result：The idea of governance was to reform the traditional dual management system，and to take the aim at promoting the development of industry organizations. Conclusions：The development history of China’s health industry organizations and the special institutional environment show that China’s industry organizations are still dominated by the government. The independence and authority of the industry is still very limited. In the new era，facing the reform of the health industry organization，the government should implement full authorization according to its characteristics and improve the professional level of industry organizations.
