Abstract:The prevalence of Aortic dissection(AoD)is reported elevated incidence ,younger in age and with highmortality in China. After sudden onset of AoD,the risk of rupture increased about 1% per hour. And AoD has become an deadly killer that threaten our health and could make great social and economic burden.“Time is life” is what really important for AoD patients. In our province,doctors in hospitals certificate above the county level can help to make clear diagnosis,however,there are very few hospitals have the ability to make integrated treatment. The Department of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital have received the approval to build up the Center of Aortic Diseases of Jiangsu Province since 2013. The aim of this center is to make immediate therapy for patients suffered from aortic dissection diseases,and put forward the concept of “Six hours’ life circle” in our country. Through constant practice, we have built up a standardized therapeutic platform for aortic disease patients with features as all-time,fast reaction and extensive experience. In order to increase the survival rate of patients,we have worked out a series of procedures of reception,diagnosis,referral and treatment,and the outcome could be an references of therapies of critical ill patients.
